At my first International Lighthouse and Lightship Weekend with the Manly Warringah Radio Society, operating from Barrenjoey Lighthouse. Here is their writeup: http://www.mwrs.org.au/lighthouse-operations/. It was a great experience to stay there for the night.
The 3rd annual FPGA Fly Fishing Workshop (FFF’17) was down on attendance, only Ken and myself participating from the 19-20th Feb, 2017. This year, it was on the Trinity River, California, fishing for steelhead (sea run rainbow trout). These are a reasonably hard fish to catch, one fish being a good result. Arrived at about 10am at SFO and was met by Ken at the airport.
Departed on a beautiful early-summer Sydney morning in late Nov.
I participated in the 2nd FPGA Fly-Fishing (FFF’16) Symposium in Seattle WA, hosted by Ken and attended by Guy, Aaron (not pictured below) and myself. The previous FFF was in New Zealand and is described here http://phwl.org/new-zealand-fly-fishing-2015/.
