Refinishing a footstool I made about 5 years ago in Tasmanian Oak. It was my take on this elegant design published in Fine Woodworking http://www.finewoodworking.com/2002/02/01/a-sturdy-footstool.
Despite it being really windy, had a good day of fishing with Beard and his son Lachlan in Pittwater.
This nice camphor laurel slab was purchased at the Sydney Timber and Working with Wood Show. Going to turn it into a hall table for the entrance to our house.
Ken came from Seattle to Sydney for a few solid days of fishing.
